St. Luke's welcomes all to join us for Trinity Sunday

Trinity Sunday is celebrated on the first Sunday after Pentecost and is one of the seven principal feasts of the church year (The Epiphany, Easter Day, Ascension Day, Trinity Sunday, The Day of Pentecost, All Saints’ Day, Christmas Day). It is a celebration of “the one and equal glory” of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, “in Trinity of Persons and in Unity of Being.” 

Thomas Becket (1118–1170) was consecrated Archbishop of Canterbury on the Sunday after Pentecost (Whitsun). His martyrdom may have influenced the popularity of the feast in England. This observance spread from Canterbury throughout the whole of western Christendom.

The Hot Springs Chapter of AA meets in the church parish hall kitchen, at the back of the church, each Monday and Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
