St. Luke's welcomes all to join us for Pentecostide (Ordinary Time)!

Pentecost (from the Greek Pentēkostē meaning 50th day) is celebrated 50 days after Easter Sunday. It marks the coming of the Holy Spirit among the apostles and followers of Jesus. We celebrated Pentecost on May 24th this year. The Monday after the Day of Pentecost, through the first Sunday of Advent, is Pentecostide, also called Ordinary Time or the Green Season. Ordinary time is the opportunity to live out the Christian faith, realizing the meaning of Christ’s resurrection in everyday life.

On Saturday, June 13 we celebrated the life of one of our most dedicated parishioners.
